As many of you may, or may not know in October 2014 (after several major life changes) I made a decision to put my business on the sidelines and accept a management position at a boutique I was was consulting for at the time. About a month ago, I decided to leave that position because I felt like it was time to get back to doing what I loved most. I have missed my business, and my clients and I couldn't be more excited about getting back to what really makes me happy, but also lets me have a positive impact in the lives of my clients as well!
I will still be taking photography clients, but not as many as before. I am currently expanding my graphic/web design & marketing consulting side of my business! But enough about me! I just wanted to update you to let you know where I've been, and that I'm glad to be back! Also, if you have a passion you can make it your business, and I'm glad to help with some of the steps along the way!
So that's how we got here.... on the side of the road, shooting this gorgeous model. Lyndsey and I first met in the late summer of 2014. I was shooting for a local boutique and we were short a model. So in true Bri fashion, I decided to contact a girl I only knew from insta-stalking. ;) Like the true doll she is, she said yes... and I threw her to the wolves. She didn't mind a bit and was a real trooper working with a large number of total strangers on a chaotic set in the middle of no where. Our paths crossed again yesterday when she once again agreed to meet me at some random location in a town away. I've been working with boutique owners from all over the US and one of the projects needed required me to shoot some sample fashion lookbook style photos. I knew Lyndsey would be the perfect model to work with for this project!
The location, the styling, the sunlight... all came together just like magic... Enjoy! XXO! Bri
I first met Sarah a few years ago when I shot her senior portraits for her. I immediately knew that I adored her. We had a laid-back, roadtrippin', windows down, radio on, girl-time kinda session--my favorite kind! SO, when she asked me about doing her engagement session I couldn't say "YES!" fast enough!
Traditionally this isn't a location I choose to shoot at very frequently. I try to stay away from "what's been done before (and over and over again)" BUT this time was a special exception since it's basically Sarah's backyard. After their wedding, Sarah will be moving to Colorado with Paul. I chose this location because I wanted to give her a little special little memory, like a piece of home to take with her and cherish as they celebrate their love for years to come!
I had such an absolute blast capturing the love story of these two! We laughed, almost cried, got sweaty, almost drown, popped champagne, & captured their true love for one another!
Paul & Sarah -- Thank you for the honor of choosing me to capture these memories for you! Congrats & I wish you a lifetime of wedded bliss!
I was so excited when Kiara's mom told me that Kiara had decided to graduate a year early and wanted to book her senior portraits with me! At her consultation we got a chance to hang out a little and plan her special senior session experience! We clicked so well ( seriously, she's a doll!) and she even agreed to be my Class of 2016 Senior Rep! To celebrate going back to school in style ( & busting out of there a year early!) we decided to do a quick mini session! This is just the beginning! I can't wait to capture the magic we are planning for her senior session experience later this fall!
To celebrate the start of the last school year for the Class of 2016 I'm running a Senior Mini Session special! For more information or to book feel free to contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or 501.470.8811!
It's been a while since I last posted, to say things have been a whirlwind would be an understatement! But I'm thrilled to be back, and even more excited to be sharing this special engagement session!
Zowey is a very special young lady that I absolutely adore! I've known her since she was a little girl, and have always considered her like family! I was honored to be able to capture this exciting and special time in her & Lane's life together!
Family C have been amazing clients of mine since I first started my photography business. I absolutely love getting to watch their little family grow every year! For this year's family session we decided a lifestyle session at the creek would be just perfect! And it was! We hung out and skipped rocks, hunted for crawdads, and of course splashed around as much as possible! Lifestyle sessions are always my favorite because we get to capture real memories and interactions! I can't wait to see this gorgeous little family again in the Spring!
How sweet is this little cutie pie?! I just adore her and those gorgeous baby blues! We had so much fun at her six month session! Isn't she precious?!
